About

As a result of natural erosion occurring on the cliffs, large boulders fall into the river and onto its banks, while some rocks crumble, enhancing this visual richness. The valley’s vegetation consists of willows along the stream banks and wild almond, rosehip, and sumac trees on the slopes. Juniper trees are also occasionally seen growing on the rocks.

The valley was formed during the Cretaceous period of the Mesozoic Era. Surrounded by very hard and steep cliffs, the valley’s bedrock is sedimentary. Both slopes of the valley are rocky and have a clayey soil structure. In addition, the valley floor consists of sandy soil with a loose, granular structure.
