Mühürzade Mansion

The Nuri Demirağ Museum, also known as the Mühürdarzade Mansion, is the former residence of Nuri Demirağ, a businessman and politician from Divriği who lived from 1886 to 1957. It is a traditional Divriği house—two stories high, built of wood and adobe, with white stucco and bay windows.

Built in the mid-19th century, the house has survived to the present day after undergoing several renovations over time. Oriented along an east-west axis, the house consists of two main sections: the harem and the selamlık. The selamlık is located on the western side of the house within a spacious courtyard. The courtyard is separated by a double-leaf wooden door and contains features such as fountains and a stable. The selamlık section includes spaces such as a stable and storage rooms on the ground floor, while the upper floor features rooms such as a summer room, a winter room, and a coffee room. The harem section is located on the eastern side and is accessed via stairs leading up to the pavilion between the roofs. The harem section includes the entrance to the bridal chamber, various rooms, and a kitchen. The house is used today as both a museum and a restaurant serving local delicacies, while preserving its historical character.
