Inönü Mansion

The İnönü Mansion in central Sivas was built by the Göğdünlüoğulları family in the 1830s.

This mansion, where İsmet İnönü spent his childhood and completed his early education between 1891 and 1897, served as a museum for a long time. It was built with a stone foundation and consists of two stories above a basement. The spaces between the wooden posts are filled with adobe, and the exterior is covered with lime plaster. The building, whose roof is covered with Marseille-style tiles, features overhangs on both the first and second floors.
