About

Kılıççılar Market, the center of production, was located directly across from the northern entrance of Subaşı Han. The most distinctive feature of this craft is the animal horns used in the knife handles. In particular, ram, goat, and ox horns—due to their durable structure and low cost—have become an integral part of the Sivas knife.
